State Rep. Dave Agema, R-Grandville, was recently rated the state Legislature's most conservative lawmaker by Inside Michigan Politics, a monthly nonpartisan publication.

            "I hold to my principles of less government and less regulation," Agema said. "Those are conservative principles that I’m proud to hold and being ranked most conservative means I'm doing my job right. My votes reflect an interest in protecting Michigan taxpayers and spending our revenue wisely and I plan to maintain my record."
